HSBC Opens Latest Singapore Wealth Centre

, which has been rolling out a series of “wealth centres” in Asia, last week announced that it has opened its latest centre in Singapore, in the western part of the city-state. 

At the Star Vista, the centre gives personalised wealth management services for affluent customers. It is the second of three such hubs planned this year in Singapore. HSBC said its “multi-year transformation journey” includes a fivefold investment to enhance its physical network in Singapore.

The centre is situated across 4,300 sq ft on the second floor of The Star Vista Mall.

“These investments are part of HSBC’s broader ambition to be the leading wealth manager in Asia, supporting Singapore’s position as a key international wealth hub by improving the accessibility and quality of wealth advisory services for its growing affluent population,” Ashmita Acharya, head of international wealth and premier banking, Singapore, said. 

Among features of the centre is a dedicated Heritage Wall, which pays homage to the history of South Buona Vista, featuring a visual display that tells the story of Buona Vista Gap Hill and its legacy as a racing circuit. The space also features custom artworks from The Art Faculty, a social enterprise under the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore), and HSBC murals that have been handpicked for display in the wealth centre.
